The Boston Bruins are looking ahead to summer to try and make some improvements for next year after being eliminated by the Florida Panthers in the second round.

Don Sweeney made it clear in his end of year press conference that the Bruins want to be aggressive in free agency and find some secondary scoring with the team.

He mentioned he needs to acquire wingers that will be able to complement the Bruins players they already have and help out with secondary scoring. And one player who fits that perfectly is 3x Stanley Cup champion Patrick Kane.

Patrick Kane is easily one of the most gifted offensive players in the free agent market this year and has quite the resume, and the Bruins would be missing out if they didn't try to acquire him.
