Former Boston Bruins Signs A Contract Outside The NHL
Former Boston Bruins player Brett Ritchie has signed a one-year contract with Dynamo Minsk in the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL).
The Canadian forward, aged 30, brings a wealth of experience to the Belarusian team.
Last season, Ritchie showcased his skills with eight goals and 13 points in 50 games split between the Calgary Flames and the Arizona Coyotes in the NHL, representing both Canada and the United States.
Despite a preseason stint with the Florida Panthers on a professional try-out, Ritchie did not secure a spot on the team.
However, he has now found a new opportunity with Dynamo Minsk, embarking on a chapter outside of the NHL for the upcoming season. As Ritchie joins the KHL, hockey enthusiasts will be eager to see how his talents contribute to Dynamo Minsk's performance on the international stage.
