Jake DeBrusk Releases a Statement After Being Benched
In a candid statement, Boston Bruins forward Jake DeBrusk took responsibility for his recent benching, shedding light on the incident and its consequences.
DeBrusk began by acknowledging the high standards held within the team, stating,
"We have a high standard on this team." He then openly admitted to breaking a team rule and expressed a deep understanding of the repercussions that come with such actions. "I understand that there are consequences with that, and I own up to it completely,"
he emphasized.

"I let the guys down. I wanted to join them in LA yesterday, and having to watch really sucked."
