Major turn of events in the Boston Bruins acquiring Leon Draisaitl

During the interview with his Co host Julian Mckenzie, Johnston made a bold statement sane that Draisaitl may find himself not with the Oilers as Johnston is unaware of how the contract negotiations will go.

Draisaitl currently has one year remaining in his contract and is allowed to sign a long-term deal after the season is over. One stark observation about him is that he has not given any indication on whether he'd rather sign with the Oilers or even an extension currently.

Rumors have been flying around about the potential of Boston acquiring Draisaitl during the offseason as the Bruins are continuing to seek out a new first line centre after the retirement of Patrice Bergeron.
