Major turn of events in the Boston Bruins acquiring Leon Draisaitl

During his podcast, Chris Johnston of TSN spoke about the potential of Oilers superstar Leon Draisatil being traded from the team as his contract negotiations loom.
During the interview with his Co host Julian Mckenzie, Johnston made a bold statement sane that Draisaitl may find himself not with the Oilers as Johnston is unaware of how the contract negotiations will go.
"I guess I would have to say Leon Draisaitl," said Johnston after taking a moment to consider the options. "That's not a prediction it's just that I think... there's a decision there. I don't know how it's gonna play out." Draisaitl currently has one year remaining in his contract and is allowed to sign a long-term deal after the season is over. One stark observation about him is that he has not given any indication on whether he'd rather sign with the Oilers or even an extension currently.
"I'm just saying it's not impossible," said Johnston. "But until we find out what direction he and the team wanna go down, in terms of an extension, the fact that it is even a 10% possibility is all I'm saying. It's hard to put a percentage on it, but it's not impossible that he's traded."
Rumors have been flying around about the potential of Boston acquiring Draisaitl during the offseason as the Bruins are continuing to seek out a new first line centre after the retirement of Patrice Bergeron. Bruins superstar David Pastrnak he was quite open to the idea of bringing Draisaitl to the Bruins as he was interviewed by the Spittin Chiclets.
Many questions loom for the Oilers as several major contracts are up for renewal in the next few years including Oilers superstar Connor McDavid.
