Montgomery Breaks The Silence Regarding Bruins Trade Candidate
Amid swirling speculation about Derek Forbort's future with the Boston Bruins due to recent performance concerns, head coach Jim Montgomery addressed the rumors.
Montgomery shared insights on Forbort's contributions, stating,
"I see a guy trying to come back and get in the rhythm of the game. I think he's had some real good games, I think he's had some areas he'd like to make a few corrections on."
Emphasizing the team's confidence in Forbort, Montgomery added,
"He's someone we believe in, and someone that's going to help us long-term as he always has."
The remarks suggest a supportive stance from the Bruins' coaching staff toward Forbort.
