The Bruins returned to the ice today, after a well-deserved two-day break, and with it, came major injury updates on Taylor Hall.
New Sweater at Practice
According to several reports from Warrior Ice Arena, Hall was in a regular sweater for the first time at practice Wednesday morning.
And as Conor Ryan of Boston.com shared, the returnee was skating on an intriguing looking third line:
A third line containing a former first overall pick and Hart winner, Tyler Bertuzzi and Charlie Coyle seems unfair for the rest of the league. Boston will have a huge advantage of being able to move around any of the top 9 forwards.
I wonder if Jim Montgomery wants Hall back in the lineup to find chemistry with Bertuzzi, who he's obviously never played with.
However, Hall noted that although he's close to returning, there's still a few more bridges to cross before then. As per Ty Anderson:
''There's still some steps and conversations I have to have before I'm fully playing. We'll know that by tomorrow morning.''

With just five games remaining it will be interesting to see if Montgomery gets Hall, Nick Foligno or even Derek Forbort back into the lineup during the regular season.
Hall, 31, has 16 goals and 20 assists in 58 games. He last played against the Vancouver Canucks during the Bruins Western road trip at the end of February.
