Today marks the first time that Linus Ullmark is set to return to TD Garden and face his former team the Boston Bruins.
There has been a lot of talk around Ullmark returning, but this game also means something to another play on the Boston Bruins, Mark Kastelic.
Mark Kastelic was apart of the Ullmark trade and it will be his first time facing his former team as well.
Joonas Korpisalo was also apart of the trade, but he will not be playing today as Jeremy Swayman will be guarding the crease for the Boston Bruins tonight.
I'm sure Korpisalo will get a chance this year to face his former team, but tonight is not the night for him.
Mark Kastelic spoke on the fact of facing his former team tonight and talked about how it's going to be different, and that he is going to treat it just as if it was another game.
You can watch Kastelic's interview down below:
Boston Bruins, and Ottawa Senators fans are in for a treat tonight, as both teams are looking to get a win so they don't fall any lower in the standings.
Not only that but we may also get to see one last goalie hug from Linus Ullmark, and Jeremy Swayman even though they are on opposing teams.
Jeremy Swayman spoke on the possibility of the two having a goalie hug at the end of the game, but would not reveal if it would actually happen.
Puck drop is slated for 7 p.m. Eastern time, as Linus Ullmark makes his official return to TD Garden.
