Despite swirling rumors suggesting a downturn for the Boston Bruins, currently dominating the Atlantic Division with an impressive 11-1-2 record, goaltender Linus Ullmark finds himself amidst trade speculations.

Even as the reigning Vezina Trophy winner, the rumor mill has linked him to the struggling Edmonton Oilers, who have faced a tumultuous start, including the waiving of Jack Campbell and the firing of head coach Jay Woodcroft.

Is Ullmark's potential move to the Oilers a plausible scenario? According to insiders at Boston Hockey Now, conversing with two anonymous NHL executives, the likelihood seems minimal.

One executive emphasized the general unpredictability of trades in the NHL, citing historical examples involving legends like Bobby Orr and Wayne Gretzky. However, the prevailing sentiment is that Ullmark is likely to stay put in Boston.

"Hey, anyone can be traded, right? If Bobby Orr and Wayne Gretzky got dealt, then anyone is fair game," remarked one NHL executive. "But right now, I'd say Ullmark's not going anywhere. Why mess with what he's got going on there with Ullmark and Swayman? They are the biggest reason for their amazing start."

Responding to the possibility of Ullmark's move, another executive expressed skepticism:

"Are you kidding me with that question? There's no reason for the Bruins to do that right now, and Buccigross' tweet proposal was pure clickbait."
