Team Canada has one of the most stacked offensive talented rosters in the Four Nations tournament, but Jon Cooper is facing some harsh backlash for his mistreatment of Bruins captain Brad Marchand.

Everyone knew coming into the tournament with how stacked the Canadians are on offense, that Marchand was going to play a depth role for Team Canada, but nobody thought it was going to be this bad.

Brad Marchand is a Stanley Cup winner, and the captain of the Boston Bruins, he has been around the game for a long time and has shown us that he is still an elite and talented player.

Marchand can be effective for Team Canada, but not with the way Jon Cooper has been using him.

In Canada's first game against Team Sweden Brad Marchand saw just 11:22 of ice time, and ended up scoring their second goal.

Facing off against USA, Brad Marchand's ice time took a big hit as Jon Cooper only put him out there for just over 8 minutes in the entire game, and is now facing some backlash for it.

Coop's mismanagement of Marchand can't be overlooked. He's proven time and time again he can be an elite player with the best in the world. 8 minutes a game just isn't going to cut it for someone who can be the heart + soul of Team Canada.

Brad Marchand could be the game changing player for Team Canada, but Jon Cooper needs to either bump up his playing time, or put him on a higher line.

Team Canada is now playing in a do-or-die game against Finland this afternoon, and it will be interesting to see if Cooper goes with the same lines or changes things up.
