The Boston Bruins organization has made an exciting signing as Providence Bruins General Manager Evan Gold announced the acquisition of forward Adam Mechura on a two-year American Hockey League (AHL) contract.

Mechura, a 20-year-old talent, showcased his skills in 58 games with the Tri-City Americans of the Western Hockey League last season, amassing an impressive 52 points from 26 goals. This 6-foot-4, 208-pound forward had previously achieved remarkable success, accumulating 84 points in 42 games during the 2021-22 season with B�l� Tygri Liberec, a U20 team in Czechia.

Hailing from Pisek, Czechia, Mechura also had the honor of representing his home country at the 2022 and 2023 World Junior Championships, further highlighting his potential in the world of professional hockey. The signing of Mechura adds depth and promise to the Providence Bruins' roster, setting the stage for an exciting AHL season ahead.
