The Bruins' rookie camp kicks off with practices at the Warrior Arena, their practice facility in Brighton, MA, on Wednesday and Thursday. Later on Thursday, the rookie squad heads to Buffalo. The Bruins' rookies are set to face the Pittsburgh Penguins' rookies on Friday at 3:30 p.m. ET, followed by a match against the Montreal Canadiens on Saturday at the same time. They will practice on Sunday at 11 a.m. ET and conclude the challenge and rookie camp on Monday at 10 a.m. ET with a game against the New Jersey Devils' rookie team.
The roster features several top prospects, including forwards Johnny Beecher, Fabian Lysell, Georgii Merkulov, Matthew Poitras, and defensemen Mason Lohrei. Additionally, camp invites Julien Beland, Ty Halaburda, Adam Mechura, Grayden Siepmann, Blake Smith, William Rousseau, and Samuel St.-Hilaire will be participating.
Looking ahead, the 2023-24 Boston Bruins training camp is scheduled to commence on September 20, with the team's first preseason game against the New York Rangers at TD Garden at 5 p.m. ET on September 24.
