Stanley Cup Final: Aaron Ekblad Played Through Multiple Injuries

In the Stanley Cup Playoffs players will battle through a lot, especially injuries.

Hockey players are not human, playing through injuries just for a taste of lord stanley.

After the Stanley Cup Playoffs are officially over it means it is time for teams to announce all the injuries that were withstanded during the 14 weeks of playoffs. Aaron Ekblad and at least four other Florida Panthers have broken bones from battling in the playoffs.

In the first round of the Playoffs Aaron Ekblad reportedly broke his foot and continued to play every series throughout. Unfortunately his efforts fell short, with the Florida Panthers getting tossed around by the Vegas Golden Knights in the Stanley Cup Final.

The Panthers assistant captain had 7 points in the 20 playoff games he played, even with a broken foot he wasn't afraid to block shots and still play solid defensemen. Not only did Aaron Ekblad suffer a broken foot, but the defensemen was riddled with injuries. Two shoulder dislocations, oblique tears and a concussion, those injuries are unknown as to when they occured but Ekblad showed true leadership and toughness throughout.
