NHL Referee Gets Laid Out By A Dangerous Hit From Behind
It was a challenging moment for an official during the recent game. Eeli Tolvanen of the Seattle Kraken unintentionally collided with a referee in a rather forceful hit from behind. The incident occurred as Seattle faced off against the LA Kings, with Tolvanen pursuing a puck into the corner, only to realize too late that a referee was in the path with no chance to evade.
Fortunately, the referee emerged unscathed, avoiding a potentially more severe outcome. Tolvanen, displaying sportsmanship, promptly checked on the official before continuing the game. It serves as a reminder for everyone to keep their heads on a swivel.
