Not long after being fired by the Toronto Maple Leafs, Sheldon Keefe has landed a new coaching job with the New Jersey Devils.

There were many rumours that were swirling around this week that there was a verbal agreement in place between Sheldon Keefe and the New Jersey Devils after being fired from the Leafs once they got eliminated from the playoffs by the Boston Bruins.
Pierre LeBrun a well known insider states the full details for the contract will be official on Thursday.
«Keefe had a two-year extension kicking in with the Leafs next season but the Devils ripped that up and signed him to a fresh four-year deal (hint, got a raise over what the 2-year extension would have paid).»
