Bruins Fan Favourite Hit With Long-Term Injury
The Boston Bruins are showcasing their adaptability during the early stages of their centennial season as they continue to tinker with their line combinations.
In a recent update provided by Bruins' head coach Jim Montgomery, as reported by Conor Ryan of Boston.com, there's a less-than-ideal prognosis for two injured forwards. Milan Lucic is set to miss a couple of weeks due to a lower-body injury, while Jakub Lauko is facing a one-week absence following a facial fracture.
Lucic's injury occurred when he blocked a slap shot with his foot during a game against the Los Angeles Kings, resulting in him missing several shifts. Although he made a valiant attempt to play in the following game against the Anaheim Ducks, he left warm-ups after just one lap and was subsequently scratched.
