Former Boston Bruin Gets Injured After Dirty Hit From Trouba
Sunday morning might bring a sore awakening for Tomas Nosek, the former Boston Bruins forward now with the New Jersey Devils.
Departing on a one-year deal in the offseason, Nosek faced a challenging night on the ice Saturday. In the first period, a forceful hit from New York's Jacob Trouba left him sprawled on the Prudential Center ice.
The 31-year-old needed assistance from the goalpost to rise. Unfortunately, Nosek suffered an upper body injury, leading to his early departure after just 2:55 minutes of play.
The Devils, without updates on Nosek's condition, went on to endure a 5-2 loss, dropping to 8-7-1 this season.
