Player Left Bloodied After Taking A Massive Hit From Ristolainen
The Detroit Red Wings find themselves in an unfortunately familiar scenario once again.
During Saturday night's game, the frequently injured Red Wings forward, Robby Fabbri, experienced another setback when he became the target of a questionable hit from Philadelphia Flyers defenseman Rasmus Ristolainen. Ristolainen collided with Fabbri behind the net, roughly midway through the third period, leaving Fabbri visibly shaken.
Following the impact, Fabbri not only left a trail on the ice but also struggled to maintain his balance on skates despite assistance from on-ice trainers. Exiting the rink with support, Fabbri remained hunched over, clutching his head, indicating the probable high impact of Ristolainen's hit on the smaller Red Wings forward.
