The Colorado Avalanche had a chance to hoist their first Stanley Cup in 21 years Friday night.
On home ice even! Something that doesn't seem to happen too often nowadays.
Of course, that wasn't the case as they dropped a 3-2 decision. A game they could've won, had it not been for the first goal.
Post-game, Avalanche head coach Jared Bednar had this to say about goaltender Darcy Kuemper's performance.
He was okay. I'd like to see him get that first one, obviously.''
