The BostonBruins have been rumoured to be in talks with the New YorkRangers for the last couple of days now and it looks to have been true.

General manager Don Sweeney announced on Tuesday that the team has acquire defenseman NickHolden from the Rangers in exchange of Rob O'Gara and a third round pick in the 2018 NHL Entry Draft.

Holden has three goals and nine assists along with 14 penalty minutes so far this season, he played in 80 games last year and put up career highs in all offensive categories with 11 goals, 23 assists and 34 points.

O'Gara goes the other way after only playing in 11 games over the last two seasons. He's got plenty of potential at only 24 years old and put together a pretty good season at Providence in 2016-17.

With this move do you think the B's will focus on some offensive help now?
