The Boston Bruins are in the middle of a playoff run but Bruins general manager Don Sweeney is still hard at work.
On Tuesday they made a move which likely indicates the end of one young forward's time in Boston.
The Bruins' have placed forward Jesse Gabrielle on unconditional waivers today for purpose of buyout.
The 21 year old was in the final year of his entry level contract which he signed back in 2016.
Gabrielle was never able to get the call up and struggled to stay in the AHL and played the last two seasons in the ECHL.
He scored one goal in Providence over three years and 25 games.
