BREAKING Bruins Prospect Named Hobey Baker Award Finalist.

Just about a week after signing his first NHL contract, one Boston Bruins' prospect just received a huge honour.�

2017 4th round pick Jeremy Swayman signed his entry level contract after playing for the Maine Black Bears.

Swayman spent three seasons playing at the University of Maine and really put it all together this season as he registered a 2.07 goals against average and a .939 save percentage.�

Because of that performance, Swayman has been nominated for quite the prestigious award.�

The 21 year old was named one of three finalists for the Hobey Baker Award which is given to the best college player�

No goalie has won the award since current�Anaheim Ducks goalie Ryan Miller did in 2001 while playing for Michigan State.�

Swayman will be up against Jordan Kawaguchi of North Dakota and St. Louis Blues prospect Scott Perunovich who's currently playing for University of Minnesota-Duluth.�
