As the NHL awaits it's return to action, everybody waits to see what type of format the league will put together.

If things fall into place, the league will likely play out the finish of the 2019-20 season and then have a the full playoffs completed.

This could be a problem for some of the older teams and unfortunately the Boston Bruins fall into that category.

Head coach Bruce Cassidy mentioned he did have some concerns regarding that for some of his guys.

"We do have some older guys... might take their engines a little longer.. It's the recovery of the older guys we have to (be concerned about)."

It's especially harder because players haven't been allowed to skate since the quarantine.

Cassidy also revealed another interesting tidbit.

The B's head coach said he's started to prepare his players mentally for the possibility of playing on lockdown. Cassidy said he needs all his players on board, especially if they'll be playing away from their families and quarantined in a hotel somewhere for the next 8-12 weeks.

What do you think of Cassidy's comments?
