The Boston Bruins are getting ready for puck drop on a 1PM game this afternoon against the New Jersey Devils.
Boston skated away with a 3-2 overtime win on Thursday night and are hoping for a bit of an easier win this afternoon.
After the game head coach Bruce Cassidy made it clear that his team didn't appreciate the Devils' players crashing the net and Tuukka Rask and things will change.
Well the first change is that Jaroslav Halak will get the start this afternoon instead of Rask.
Not only will Halak make his season debut for the B's but Craig Smith who was a last minute scratch on Thursday will also make his B's debut after signing as a free agent this offseason.
Jake Studnicka will be a healthy scratch this time around and Anders Bjork will play on the top line with Brad Marchand and Patrice Bergeron.
Here's a look at the full lineup:
Marchand-Bergeron-Bjork
DeBrusk-Krejci-Kase
Ritchie-Coyle-Smith
Frederic-Kuraly-Wagner
Lauzon-McAvoy
Grzelcyk-Carlo
Zboril-Miller
Halak
