The Boston Bruins dropped another road game on Thursday night and their losing streak now sits at three games.

Those three games and losses have all come at the hands of other playoff teams, not a good sign for the B's as they head into the playoffs.

Sure, in the Bruins defense you could say two of those three teams (Philadelphia and Florida) are actually playing desperation hockey fighting for the final playoff spot, but regardless the team is just making too many mistakes.

"Well it's unacceptable and that's the formula we've played with in all three games on the trip. We played from behind and we got one out of six points, and that's what's going to happen in this league. I don't care what teams you're playing," said Cassidy. "We played three hungry teams, so that's part of it. But it's just a bad formula to play from behind.

"As a coach you have to prepare your team to play, but it's Game 80 and guys need to be ready to go when the puck drops.

That's something we need to look to correct. Is it the situation that we're in or has it crept into our game? We aren't going to know that until next Thursday [when the Bruins open], to be honest with you.

We're going to go through the same thing on Saturday and Sunday if our level of urgency isn't there.

If we're looking ahead then we may have the same starts, so we'll have to address it.

But at the end of the day, we won't know [the answer] to that until next Thursday."

It almost sounds like Cassidy expects the Bruins to lose both games this weekend as the players seem focused on the playoffs.
