The Boston Bruins failed to show up last night against the Pittsburgh Penguins and dropped an important two points in the process.
Boston continues to hang on by a thread on the final playoff spot in the MassMutual East Division and that's thanks to the Philadelphia Flyers massive struggles over March.
Last night's 4-1 loss was pretty much the same thing we've seen recently with only certain players showing up.
Head coach Bruce Cassidy has called them out recently but now he's just disappointed.
"I'm not frustrated, I'm disappointed"
"We've had trouble executing for a while now. We don't take care of the puck well enough. We don't respect the process."
"Lot of it was our top guys tonight."
"I'm not frustrated. I'm disappointed those guys don't recognize the value of the puck."
One of the players who Cassidy has to be talking about is David Pastrnak who had an absolutely brutal turnover that led to a Penguins goal.
What do you think of Cassidy's comments?
