Boston Bruins superstar David Pastrnak called out the Bruins team after yet another upsetting loss to the New York Rangers.

The Boston Bruins have been known for blowing third period leads this season, and did it once again last night against the New York Rangers.

Boston held a 2-1 lead going into the third period, but quickly saw the Rangers tie up the score just over 5 minutes into the third period. Later on in the third the Rangers would go on to score short handed goal which would stand as the game winner.

After the game, David Pastrnak, who has been on fire lately, called out the Boston Bruins.

Pastrnak did not blame it on fatigue as the Bruins were playing in their second game in two days.

Following the game, David Pastrnak stated that the Bruins were undisciplined, and allowed the Rangers to score while they had a man advantage. He also stated the team didn't bring their A-game, and that they need to work on their power play and discipline.

"No, I don't think [fatigue was a factor]. It's our own doing. We were undisciplined, got scored on against on the power play," Pastrnak said. "Those are two things that bite you in this league. We didn't have our A-game today whatsoever, but we were up 2-1 after two periods somehow. You know, thanks to Korpi and a couple of goals. We just got to be better with the discipline and on the power play, obviously."

With how close the Eastern Conference wildcard race is right now, this is a tough loss for the Bruins, who are fighting for their spot in the playoffs.

Especially giving up a short-handed goal as the game winner. The Bruins sit sixth in the Atlantic Division standings as of now, and winning that game would have put them ahead of the Detroit Red Wings, and Tampa Bay Lightning in the standings.

David Pastrnak did his part though, picking up a goal to extend his point streak to 12 games where he has 11 goals, and 14 assists for 25 points.
