A Shocking Announcement Was Just Made Regarding Bruins CEO Charlie Jacobs
According to an announcement from Team USA, Boston Bruins CEO and alternate governor Charlie Jacobs will be joining team USA's Hockey Foundation's board of directors.
The Boston Bruins organization announced this in an announcement during the day on Wednesday, take a look:
«It's an honor to join the USA Hockey Foundation Board, particularly alongside a group of people as passionate as I am about the sport of hockey, » Jacobs said in a statement released by the Bruins. «I'm proud of the work the Boston Bruins organization has done - and will continue to do - to grow our sport across New England, and I look forward to the opportunity to further the advancement of our great game throughout the nation in this new role with USA Hockey.»
Jacobs was the founder of the Boston Bruins Foundation which started in 2003, and since it's inception, they have raised more than $67 million to strengthen the community's support with Children and families. Helping them with their education, athletics, health and wellness.

«We are thrilled to welcome Charlie to The USA Hockey Foundation Board,» executive director of USA Hockey and The USA Hockey Foundation Pat Kelleher said, per the organization. «His leadership in the hockey world, combined with his dedication to growing the game at all levels, will help us continue to make a meaningful impact on the sport.»
USA Hockey noted that Jacobs «brings extensive experience in sports management and philanthropy» to the organization, furthering The USA Hockey Foundation's mission.
Charlie Jacobs is currently active in multiple local organizations across New England according to NESN. Some include the Massachusetts Business Roundtable, Boston College Chief Executive Club, and the Sports Museum.
These are all organizations where he serves on the Board.
