Chara Reveals He Spoke To Brady Before Leaving Boston.

It's a move that still feels weird and sent some ripples through the city of Boston.�

Longtime captain and Bruins' defenseman Zdeno Chara walked during free agency and signed a one year deal with the Washington Capitals.�

It was half surprising and half not surprising kind of like when Tom Brady packed up and left the Patriots for Tampa.�

While speaking to the Washington media, Chara revealed that he had consulted with�Brady before leaving Boston.�

Chara said the two are still close friends even after Brady left for Tampa.�

It showed when Brady left a comment on Chara's farewell Instagram message as he wrote�"Best of luck to you Zee,"�paired with some heart and "100" emojis.�

It's definitely a weird sight in Boston and hopefully the Bruins don't stumble like the Patriots did this season.�
