Although it's too early to tell which new addition will be most beneficial, the early returns suggest Dmitry Orlov could have a major impact for the Bruins.
Through his first four games with Boston, Orlov has registered a 3 goals and 5 assists. Not only that, but according to Ty Anderson, he's also the first Bruins defenseman since Zdeno Chara to accomplish an impressive feat.
As per Anderson:
‘'According to my research here, Dmitry Orlov is the first Bruins defenseman to put up back-to-back three-point games since Zdeno Chara did it in Mar. 2011.''
Before the trade, Orlov had just 3 goals and 16 assists in 53 games for the Washington Capitals.
It's easy to see why he's been given the nickname ‘'ORRlov‘' by Bruins faithful.
