This weekend during the Montreal Canadiens and Ottawa Senators game which took place outdoors this weekend in Ottawa, former Boston Bruins coachDon Cherry broadcasted his "Coach's Corner" segment live outside.
As usual, Cherry focused on a couple of subjects across the NHL and one of those subjects was current Bruins forwardBrad Marchand.
Cherry focused on Marchand's recent performance against the Detroit Red Wings starting with his beauty of a pass to David Pastrnak.
"He does not get the credit he deserves," Cherry said Saturday night.
Cherry then focused on Marchand's winning goal and his long stick. The stick helped with not only the goal but also helping him get a hold of the puck on Torrey Krug's pass which was a bit ahead of him.
"If he has a short stick he doesn't reach it," Cherry said "He's got a nose for the net as they say".
Despite Marchand putting up career high numbers last season, do you think he's still under appreciated by the rest of the league?
