The Maple Leafs and Rangers have made big splashes in the NHL trade market already, and more teams will be following suit.

But what are Don Sweeney's plans for his Bruins and the Trade Deadline? Offense like Patrick Kane or Timo Meier? Depth such as Ivan Barbashev or Luke Schenn?

Or perhaps as Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman shared on his 32 Thoughts segment during Hockey Night in Canada on Saturday night. That Boston is heavily targeting a left-handed defenseman.

''One of the reasons why Gavrikov was given the trade related sit-out by the Columbus Blue Jackets, is because the Bruins are in on him.''

According to Friedman the Bruins are still targeting both Vladislav Gavrikov and Jakob Chychrun. It would make sense if Sweeney's focus has shifted to Gavrikov, since the Coyotes ask for Chychrun is absurdly high. (More on that here)
