Things have started out terrible as a member of the Carolina Hurricanes for Max Pacioretty.
The veteran was out since August after tearing his Achilles Tendon, and after appearing in just 5 games, he has now suffered the same injury.
As per Luke DeCock of News and Observer:
MRI confirms Max Pacioretty tore his right Achilles tendon, two weeks after returning to action after suffering the same injury in August.
Just a brutal turn of events.
The 34-year-old was acquired by the Hurricanes from the Vegas Golden Knights this summer, and had 3 goals in 5 games this season.
Just terrible news for Pacioretty, who has 91 points in his last 92 NHL games.
