Kenan Thompson hosted the 2022 NHL Awards show on Wednesday night.
The actor is mostly known for his role in the Mighty Ducks Movie franchise. He's also been a regular on SNL (Saturday Night Live) for many years.
Now he joined fellow NHL fans in making fun of the Toronto Maple Leafs.
Thompson awarded Auston Matthews the Hart Trophy to close out the show.
With his last words he proceeded to say:
''Congrats to Auston Matthews it's nice to see the Leafs winning something in June.''
The Toronto based Sportsnet was clearly not a fan and cut to commercial break almost instantly.
