The Boston Bruins host the Montreal Canadiens tonight at TD Garden and it should be a very interesting game with the Bruins looking pretty healthy.
Boston is 7-3-0 in their last 10 games and a lot of that is thanks to goalie Tuukka Rask.
After sharing the net with Jaroslav Halak for a lot of the season, it looks like Rask has earned his spot back as the team's starting goalie.
Rask has a five game winning streak going while only giving up seven goals in that span which includes a shutout against the Minnesota Wild.
"There's one net and Tuukka's playing very well now and we're trying to get him as many starts, so obviously that's going to limit Jaro's activity," explained head coach Bruce Cassidy after last Thursday's loss. "When he's in there he's got to basically outplay (Rask) and that's been the mantra with a lot of players in our group and that's where (Halak's) at now if he wants to get more starts."
WithRask rolling along the way he is right now, it's unlikely we'll see a lot of Halak.
Rask has a big test tonight as he faces his arch nemesis Montreal Canadiens who he has just a 11-16-3 record against in his career.
