Training camp hasn't even started yet and we've got nothing but bad news so far.
Charlie McAvoy and Brandon Carlo remain unsigned.
John Moore will miss the start of the season while Zdeno Chara's status is questionable which really puts the blueline in a scary state.
However it's not just the blueline that might start the season banged up as Patrice Bergeron revealed he's still not 100%.
Bergeron told reporters on Monday that he's still dealing with a groin issue which is currently bothering him.
The Bruins' forward added that he had a shot injected during the summer that he hopes will help him but so far it's still nagging.
