The roster is in tact and everything is lined up for the Boston Bruins to make another run at the Stanley Cup this season.

The Bruins came so close to raising Lord Stanley however injuries caught up to them this past season.

It might be the last season we see this defensive group together because almost all their contracts are up next year.

Of course we still don't know what kind of deals Charlie McAvoy and Brandon Carlo will sign, but the team will have Torey Krug, Kevan Miller, Zdeno Chara and Matt Grzelcyk as UFA's next summer.

The most talked about has been Krug as he's been mentioned in lots of trade rumors, but Krug is such a key part of the team it would be hard not to sign him long term.

What about Krug? Will he test the market?

"I love the situation I'm in. I'm pretty sure my teammates would love me to come back. My coach [Bruce Cassidy] I know for a fact loves the way I play. This last playoffs was big for me and my development and my growth. I feel like I'm just hitting my prime."

Would he be willing to take a pay cut?

"Would I take less to stay in Boston? It's something that I've talked about with my family and my agent. It's something I'm interested in. How much less that's a question that will be answered at a certain time. I think something that's fair will be able to be worked out both ways. As long as they want me, I think something could be done, realistically. Everyone does it. How much they do it, is kind of their own opinion and [dependent] on their own circumstances."

What do you think of Krug's comments?
