Some new details have emerged regarding the death of hockey icon Johnny Gaudreau, and his brother Matthew Gaudreau.

Some new court documents have revealed more details in Johnny and Matthew Gaudreau's death after both of them were tragically killed while out riding their bikes right before their sisters wedding which was supposed to take place the following day in New Jersey.

The NHL regular season has officially begun, and players are back to their normal schedule, but the court case regarding Matthew, and Johnny Gaudreau is still on going. 911 calls and court documents have revealed new details on the tragic incident that took place on August 30th.

It's almost been two months since both Matthew and Johnny Gaudreau were killed while riding their bikes after their sisters rehearsal dinner, in preparation for her wedding, which was supposed to take place the next day. Both the Brothers were supposed to be groomsmen for their sister. The Columbus Dispatch made a report that stated Sean Higgins, the man who ended up taking the lives of Johnny and Matthew, was the third car behind them, and attempted to pass them.

"One of the vehicles, an SUV closest to the brothers, started moving to the left to create room for the brothers. Police and New Jersey prosecutors have said Higgins accelerated around that SUV on the right, driving into the Gaudreau brothers, who both died at the scene." - Columbus Dispatch

The original police report stated that Higgins had five to six beers before going driving that night and taking their lives. He was accused of going over the speed limit which was 50 MPH as well, and his wife stated that he was mad after a phone call he had with his mother. Following the call with his mother he reportedly got in his car and drove around while on the phone with a friend for a couple of hours.

A judge has stated that the 911 cals can be released to the public, but police have said that they more than likely won't release the tapes because the family would like to keep them private. Sean Higgins remains in custody and is set to appear in court again in November.
