Just recently, on January 24th, the Chicago Blackhawks were involved in a three-team blockbuster trade, and would send former Boston Bruins forward Taylor Hall to the Carolina Hurricanes.
Colorado Avalanche's Mikkoe Rantanen was the main target in the blockbuster trade, and he also went to the Carolina Hurricanes.

The Athletic released their trade board, and according to NHL insider Chris Johnston, he reported that former Boston Bruins player Ryan Donato is
This shouldn't come of much of a surprise thought, as the 28-year-old is set to be an unrestricted free agent, and the Blackhawks are currently going through a rebuild. They clearly are going to be sellers at this years NHL trade deadline.
Another reason Donato has been gaining trade interest is due to the fact that he is having a really solid year this year. In 46 games for the Chicago Blackhawks, he has 14 goals, and 14 assists for 28 points.
A playoff team that is looking for some extra depth scoring in the bottom six could show some major interest in Donato at the trade deadline. The fact he can play center and the wing makes him pretty appealing to playoff contenders as well.
With the Boston Bruins needing depth scoring, this may be the perfect player to bring back into the organization if the Bruins are in a playoff spot by the deadline.
If the Bruins are buying at the NHL trade deadline, should they re-acquire Ryan Donato?
