Recent Announcement Revealed A Fan Favourite Is Set To Be Recalled By The Boston Bruins

A recent announcement has revealed that the Boston Bruins may be recalling a fan favourite and fans are hopeful.
The Bruins have faced a lot of criticism this year for how they have been favouriting players on the roster that shouldn't be there, instead of giving promising prospects shots with the big club in the NHL.
One player in particular is fan favourite Georgii Merkulov. This season he has really broken out for the Boston Bruins in the American Hockey League, and early on in the season he got a short stint with the Boston Bruins, but was limited to just 13:44 ice time a game.
In their most recent game, Merkulov recorded a three point night for the Providence Bruins, and extended his point streak to seven games.
He also has four goals, seven assists for 11 points in his last seven games. There is no reason the Bruins are giving chances to players when Merkulov has fully deserved a call up.

On top of all of this, with 11 points in his last nine games, fan favourite Georgii Merkulov is now fifth in the league in scoring in the American Hockey League.
If his play this season doesn't end up with him being recalled by the Boston Bruins, it's unsure what will.
