Boston Bruins goalie Tuukka Rask has always been a subject of debate for Bruins' fans.

Some fans love him and some fans will argue he cost the team two Stanley Cups.

There's no denying his numbers though with a career 2.28 goals against average, .921 save percentage along with the 2014 Vezina Trophy.

Craig Custance of the Athleticspoke to GM's and goalie coaches across the league to rank the NHL's goalies.

When it comes to Tuukka Rask, they were split down the middle much like fans.

"Look at how the Bruins managed Rask," said an executive. "Halak took pressure off him. He was unbelievable in the playoffs because he was fresh. The way the game is played these days so fast, so intense you can't expect a goalie to play 60 games. They're done. It's too hard on them."

"He's not in the category of Vasilevskiy, Gibson, Bishop and Price," said a GM. "He's probably the best (tier) two but those guys are bigger difference makers. I think you can count on those guys. Halak had better numbers and they pretty much split the season last year. Boston is a good team and they make their goalies look good."
