NHL Insider Confirms Bruins Ready To Go "All In" And Trade These Assets.
The Boston Bruins are making their push and have leapfrogged the Toronto Maple Leafs for second place in the Atlantic Division.�
It's great news that the Bruins were able to keep it rolling with David Pastrnak sidelined and the team have now won five in a row.�
After general manager Don�Sweeney announced Pastrnak's surgery he added that he was going to stay the course with his trade deadline plans and not panic.�
Well maybe he's not going to panic, but according to one NHL insider the Bruins are ready to make a big play on the trade market.�
According to TSN's Darren Dreger, the Bruins are willing to let go of young assets to land a top tier player.�
"When you look at Boston, they've got two or three very similar young forwards like Heinen, Bjork," noted Dreger. "There's three or four of them that they could part with. These are good players, players that you'd want to hold onto in a perfect world and watch them develop and grow.�
"But the Bruins are in it to win it, no pun intended here. They feel like they're designed to contend for the Stanley Cup right now, and it's pretty obvious why when you look at some of their aging forwards like Backes and Krejci. Bergeron is just a marvel - this guy is a science experiment because he seemingly gets better every time he steps onto the ice. Tuukka Rask. "They just would like to add a little bit more and they're willing to part with the assets, be it draft picks or some of the young pieces that I've talked about."
Artemi Panarin, Wayne Simmonds and more have been attached to the Bruins for the last couple of months in trade rumors.�
