The Boston Bruins and general manager Don Sweeney have already made some noise before the trade deadline.
They've acquired Rick Nash and Nick Holden through trade while signing free agent Brian Gionta to a contract for the remainder of the season.
It looks like the team might be thinking of making another strong move.
According to Jimmy Murphy the Bruins have had discussion about a one for one swap involving Torey Krug on his way to Edmonton in exchange of Oilers defenseman Oscar Klefbom.
Some would say Klefbom offers an upgrade on Krug considering he's only 24 years old and still has plenty of room to grow. On a struggling Oilers team, the 6'3 215lb defenseman has three goals and 14 assists in 58 games.
