The Boston Bruins have proven that when healthy, they can skate and play with pretty much everyone.

Despite never being on the lists at the start of the season, the Bruins are in the mix once again and currently just one point behind the Toronto Maple Leafs for second in the Atlantic Division.

That's exactly why Bruins' general manager DonSweeney is ready to add some talent before the trade deadline.

Kevin Dupont of the Boston Globe reports that Sweeney is swinging for the fences trying to land Philadelphia Flyers forward Wayne Simmonds.

He's already been heavily connected to the Bruins as a perfect fit and could look really good skating on the team's second line withDavid Krejci and Jake DeBrusk.

The cost to land him would likely be a first round pick with a prospect or two.

"The Bruins are desperate to find Krejci an upgrade at wing, be it left or right, and Simmonds is a 6-foot-2-inch right handed shot who is comfortable on both sides. Given his straight-ahead style, he likely would line up on the right side (asRick Nash did a year ago) and DeBrusk on the left side.

Do you think he'd be the perfect fit for the second line?
