A announcement was just made, and it revealed the Boston Bruins game tonight is going to be delayed.
The delay is due to the New Jersey Devils having a pregame ceremony tonight for a former head coach.
The ceremony will be for former New Jersey Devils head coach Jacques Lemaire. Lemaire was the New Jersey Devils head coach when the team went on to win it's first Stanley Cup.
Puck drop is now expected to be dropped at 7:23 p.m. ET according to the announcement.

Jacques Lemaire hand a nice NHL career before becoming a head coach. He was an undrafted player who got signed by the Montreal Canadiens and went on to win eight Stanley Cup Championships as a player of the Montreal Canadiens.
During his first two seasons with the Montreal Canadiens, Lemaire would go on to win back-to-back Stanley Cups in 1967-68, and 1968-69. His final four years in the NHL as a player, he would go on to win four Stanley Cups from 1975-76, to 1978-79.
He would later go on to be the assistant General Manager of the Montreal Canadiens where he would win another two Stanley Cups, and then would become the head coach of the New Jersey Devils and brought them their first ever Stanley Cup Championship.
Lemaire has quite the resume to his name for an undrafted player in the NHL, with a total of 11 Stanley Cup Championships.
