General manager Don Sweeney went as all in as he could've at this year's Trade Dealine, and it's safe to say, the early results have paid off handsomely for the Bruins.

Between Tyler Bertuzzi, Garnet Hathaway and Dmitry Orlov; Boston is bigger, stronger and deeper than they were before. Like most deadline acquisitions, however, all three are UFAs after this season and Sweeney will have to decide who he will - or can - bring back next season.

According to Kevin Paul Dupont of Boston Globe, the Bruins won't be bringing back Orlov unless multiple trades are completed first. DuPont writes:

''Word around the Capitals was that Orlov, though well-liked and appreciated, shot too high in asking price and term (between 6-8 years) for a new deal to stay in Washington. He will turn 32 a few weeks after the UFA period opens July 1. Hard to envision the Bruins, with Charlie McAvoy and Hampus Lindholm signed to rich, long-term deals, offering Orlov more than, say, four years at his current ticket ($5.1 million). Even then, it could mean wheeling Brandon Carlo or Matt Grzelcyk.''

Orlov will be 32 next season and is will be as Dupont eluded to, could be looking for up to eight years at most likely more than his current $5.1 million cap hit. Despite how impressive he's been for the the Bruins, that's a contract they can't be willing to commit to, even for four years like mentioned.
