The Tampa Bay Lightning's historic run continues as they forced a game six back at home with a 3-2 win game five over the Colorado Avalanche.
The series is still 3-2 in favour of Colorado, but the Lightning have crawled back after dropping the first two games. They did the same thing against the New York Rangers in the Eastern Conference Finals before winning four straight and advancing to the Stanley Cup Finals.
If Tampa Bay come all the way back and win the series, they will make NHL history.
As per @realpuckzone on Instagram:
"No team has ever erased an 0-2 deficit in both the Conference Final and Cup Final of the same postseason (0-5, last team down bad was the Hawks in 1965)."
If any team can do it, it would be the back-to-back Stanley Cup champion Lightning, though. Going back home for game six is a huge advantage, and as all hockey fans know, anything can happen in a game seven!
