After almost a month and a half on the market, top unrestricted free agent Nazem Kadri finally found a new home with the Calgary Flames, as he signed a seven-year, $49 million contract.

Kadri was seemingly holding up many free agents from signing, as teams and player's camps were waiting to see what his contract would be and adjust their values accordingly.
Ranked by points last season, the top remaining free agents are:
1. Phil Kessel
2. Paul Stastny
3. Evan Rodrigues
4. Sonny Milano
5. Sam Gagner
6. Tyler Ennis
7. Anton Stralman
8. Alex Chiasson
9. P.K. Subban
10. Jonathan Dahlen
Kessel, Milano, and Rodrigues can all contribute in middle-six roles and provide teams with flexibility on special teams.
Milano, 26, was the 16th overall pick in 2014 and just recorded a career year of 34 points in 66 games with the Anaheim Ducks.
Rodrigues proved he could provide offense in a top-six role when he filled in for an injured Evgeny Malkin. The 29-year-old collected 43 points in 82 points last season with the Pittsburgh Penguins.
Jonathan Dahlen, 24, is maybe the most attractive free agent remaining. The former 42nd overall pick finished his rookie season with the San Jose Sharks and scored 22 points in 61 games.
Meanwhile, veterans Kessel and Stastny can help out in the middle six, while Subban remains the top defenseman on the UFA market. Other veterans Ennis, Chiasson and Stralman, could also be great depth pieces for any NHL team.
