The Boston Bruins and pending free agent Marcus Johansson have both expressed mutual interest about a possible return to Boston.
Johansson was acquired before the trade deadline and fit in both on and off the ice with the Bruins.
There's turning out to be a real chance that the two sides get something done.
According to Pierre LeBrun, general manager DonSweeney will meet with Johansson's agent JP Barry this week in Vancouver during the draft.
It will be interesting to see if the two sides can get something done as Johansson can definitely earn some good money on the open market while the Bruins have some cap concerns with Charlie McAvoy and Brandon Carlo needing new contracts.
The 28 year old fit in well and really got some chemistry going with Charlie Coyle.
During 10 regular season games he registered three points and then added 11 points in 22 games during the playoffs.
