Boston Bruins and rival set to combine for blockbuster trade
There is no doubt that changes will be happening to the Toronto Maple Leafs core in the off-season, and General Manager Brad Treliving has come out and stated that their only "untouchables" are Auston Matthews and William Nylander.
With that being said it wouldn't be a surprise if the Leafs decided to move on from captain John Tavares, and the Boston Bruins could be a perfect trade partner for them.
There are a lot of rumours that the Bruins were trying to move Linus Ullmark at the trade deadline this year.
The Bruins have also been looking for a bonfied first line center, which they have been missing ever since Patrice Bergeron decided to hang up the skates after last year.
This would make the Bruins and Leafs perfect trade partners, the Leafs would finally get a good goalie in Linus Ullmark and the Bruins would get that number one center they have been looking for.
