Elliotte Friedman Announced Unexpected Player As A Healthy Scratched Moments Before Game Due To Trade Reasons

Elliotte Friedman just confirmed that Nashville Predators have officially scratched 35-year-old forward Gustav Nyquist for trade reasons.
Nashville Predators' General Manager Barry Trotz announced his trade deadline plans a few days ago stating he was willing to trade any players that do not want to be a part of the team moving forward.
"I've talked to all of our top players and said let's be honest. Here's the plan: if you're in, that's great, and if not, then let me know, and I'll make a move."
There is now six days until the NHL trade deadline is here, and a lot of people are expecting for the Nashville Predators to be one of the more active teams.
Today, the team announced that Gustav Nyquist is more then likely on his way out of the Predators organization.
Friedman confirmed this stating that Nyquist is going to be a healthy scratch today for trade related reasons.

Friedman then went on to stat that the Minnesota Wild have been one of the teams showing a lot of interest in the veteran.
This move is seen a lot in the NHL as the trade deadline approaches as teams do not want to jeopardize their chances of being able to move players.
Nyquist this season has 21 points in 57 games, while playing top six minutes for most of the season.
Last season, Nyquist had a career-high 75 points, but has had a very down season this year.
Nasvhille is taking on the New York Islanders this afternoon, and it will be interesting to see if anything on this develops while they play.
